Synopsis

After moving to Tokyo for university, Nashida quickly loses interest in classes and ordinary student life. What begins as casual games in local mahjong parlors turns into something more serious as he’s drawn deeper into the world of money matches and high-stakes tables. Days blur into nights spent chasing wins, covering losses, and learning how to survive among seasoned gamblers. Each game tests not only his skill, but his nerve, judgment, and willingness to risk everything for another chance at the table. This is a mahjong drama about life on the margins, where victories are temporary, losses linger, and the current of the gambling world slowly pulls one man further away from the life he once planned.
