Synopsis

Ginji is an aloof mahjong player who undertakes gambling matches with yakuza opponents and boasts of his unbeaten record. His true identity is that of a detective! What will happen in the game between Ginji, nicknamed "Lesser Emperor" who flies high in the autumn sky, and Shimura, the organization's rep player? The title story, "Ginyanma," as well as other stories by the genius Fukumoto Nobuyuki, are hardboiled romances about skilled mahjong players crawling in the underworld.
