The story revolves around a group of children who cosplay as Gorengers, dreaming of one day meeting their heroes from television. Their acts as the "Gorengers" often get them into mischief, usually with wacky antics ensuing in the midst of it. The manga is also notable for featuring another Ishinomori creation as part of the "cast", Robocon from Ganbare!! Robocon.
