Tojo Academy is a prestigious high school known for its kendo program. The academy bribes talented individuals from all over the country, and the kendo club is controlled by Yoshida, the chairman's son and a second-year student. Those without skill are not even allowed to join. Hazuki Sakura, a clumsy girl from morning till night, is a second-year student at the academy. She has a bamboo sword, but she's not in the kendo club. Due to Yoshida's policies, there is no kendo club for girls.
