The Touhoku region, where the strong will of human beings and the harshness of nature compete. Gunshots now endlessly echo in the mountains of Ou. They are a group of hunters called "Matagi" who use guns and kill their prey with deep knowledge and skill. Nature is an enemy and a unique friend to these people who live with the depressing seasons. The stories told through their eyes are full of the abundant scent of Yamano.
