As the Federation moves to rebuild its shattered colonies, the work falls to civilian contractors operating on the front lines of a fragile ceasefire. Darry Neil Guns is a team leader at Monotone Mouse, a Colony Public Corporation firm, and a Gundam fanatic who built his own mobile suit from scrap to prove it. When Neo Zeon remnants attack the reconstruction site, Darry throws himself into the fight aboard his junk-built imitation. But the enemy mistakes it for the real thing, and now everyone wants the Gundam that doesn't exist.
