On July 7, 1999, Taiki Saigo, an ordinary high school student, was recruited by Chrono Eyes (the so-called Time Patrol) because he was "intelligent and physically gifted, but his death wouldn't have a significant impact on history." However, this marked the beginning of a grand adventure and a massive conspiracy that transcended time and space, from the distant past to the far future, and from Earth to the other side of the galaxy!
