Riki Kanno was betrayed by his best friend and met a tragic death. But when he opens his eyes, an unfamiliar otherworldly landscape stretches out before him. Trying to survive, he goes monster hunting, only to be quickly defeated. He then attempts to form a party, but every effort to find companions ends in failure.
