줄거리

"All this time, have I been smiling with this face? All this time, have I been walking around shamelessly in this body? Why was I even born?" Mirei Houryuuji is a timid, chubby and plain 3rd-year high school student that has a complex about her appearance. Her best friend, Kousei Miyama, is a cool and kindhearted guy that never once considers her ugly. But then, a traumatic incident befalls, making the shamed and heartbroken Mirei decide to undergo plastic surgery. At last, she bids farewell to Kousei, telling him that she wants to start over in a faraway place where no one knows her. Thus begins her new life in Fukuoka. This is the sorrowful love story of a girl who tries to leave her painful past behind in order to find happiness.
