줄거리

Edgar Nightsword was the legendary “Sword God,” the strongest swordsman in the world and the great hero who brought an empire’s devastating war of conquest to an end by defeating its emperor. But even the greatest swordsman cannot defeat old age. After entrusting everything to his disciples, Edgar peacefully reaches the end of his seventy-year life. When he next awakens, however, Edgar discovers that he has been reincarnated as Rinne, a young village girl living on the remote frontier of the very kingdom he once protected. His body may now be that of a little girl, but Rinne still possesses Edgar’s memories, experience, and unparalleled mastery of the sword. As she grows up, her extraordinary talent quickly becomes impossible to hide. Eventually setting out as an adventurer alongside her childhood friends, Rinne begins a journey toward the royal capital in hopes of meeting the disciples she left behind in her previous life. Along the way, she faces increasingly powerful enemies and gradually becomes entangled with unfinished business from Edgar’s past. The world’s strongest swordsman may have died, but his legend is about to begin all over again in the body of an unlikely village girl.
