줄거리

“Exactly 1,000 days from today, I want to divorce you.” Fine was once adored by the people as a Great Saint blessed with extraordinary healing powers. But one day, a scheme by her rival, the junior saint Kilia leads to her being branded a criminal and expulsion from the Church. As if that were not enough, her money-driven parents sell her into marriage to a young margrave of the frontier-dwelling Naruka, a tribe labeled “heretics” by the wider world. Determined to endure her new circumstances with quiet dignity, Fine resolves to live modestly and do her best in her unfamiliar new home. Yet on the very first day of their marriage, her reserved new husband calmly announces that he intends to divorce her exactly 1,000 days later. Thus begins a 1,000-day contract marriage between an exiled former Great Saint and a blunt, younger margrave. An unlikely partnership that may slowly change both their fates.
