あらすじ

The main character, Sakurataro, whose father is the legendary shoot-down king Colonel Sakura, is a trainee at the Tsuchiura Air Corps. He dreams of becoming a shooting champion like his father and devotes himself to harsh training day and night. 　One day, just before his graduation, information came in that his father, who was active on the southern front, had been shot down by an enemy plane. Upon learning of this, Taro loses his composure and jumps into the 0th race despite the instructor's restraints...
