Amazing Travels Around the World

あらすじ

The story follows a group of boys, girls, and animal characters who travel the world in suitcases that transform into airplanes and submarines, while a group of doctors who have become separated from them follow in a balloon that transforms from a travel bag, and the group narrowly misses reuniting with them. The descriptions of each country are somewhat biased; while developed countries in Europe and America are depicted in considerable detail, the latter half is rushed, and countries in Africa and South America, in particular, are hardly introduced, partly due to the historical context of constant racial and ethnic conflicts at the time. Sales were not particularly strong (average of all titles) [ 5 ] , and it went out of print soon after the new edition was published.
