あらすじ

After losing her husband and caring for her in-laws until their passing, Shizuru Hotoda has decided to live the rest of her life on her own terms, now that her movie-loving, wayward son has become independent. To start this new chapter in her life, Shizuru returns to Tokyo for the first time in 24 years and sets out to enjoy living on her own—but… The story depicts the awkward bond between the 60-year-old protagonist, Shizuru, and her son’s wife, as well as the human drama that unfolds.
