あらすじ

(from ebookjapan): Leiji Matsumoto has created a manga adaptation of the tokusatsu program "High Speed Esper," which was aired in 1967 and was extremely popular among children at the time. A thick smog covers the Kanto region, and an abnormal situation occurs in Tokyo where communication and radar systems go haywire. Dr. Atsushi, an unorthodox scientist, saves a boy who is mortally wounded when a mysterious organization attempts to kill him. The boy's name is Esper. He has escaped with his parents from the planet Basiuto, which is ruled by a dictator who is planning a space invasion. After seeing his parents off to confront the dictator, Esper dons a suit of armor created by Dr. Atsushi, and using his seven powers, crushes the Basiut's plans to invade the earth! As mentioned in the description, this is a manga adaptation of a tokusatsu series. This is also Matsumoto's work for Weekly Shonen Jump.
