あらすじ

Master samurai Mitsuteru Yokoyama takes on the challenge of this masterpiece of war tales, depicting the rise and fall of the Taira clan with a theme of impermanence! During the 400-year reign of the Fujiwara aristocracy, samurai were known as jigenin (low-ranking people), who lived impoverished lives with only small fiefs. During this period, samurai Taira no Kiyomori sided with Emperor Goshirakawa in the Hogen Rebellion, achieving military success and rising to Dazai no Daini (Vice Minister of Dazaifu). Kiyomori subsequently defeated the Heiji Rebellion, bringing the Minamoto clan to near-collapse. His achievements earned him the ranks of Chunagon (Chunagon) and Dainagon (Grand Minister of State), eventually achieving the highest rank of Dajo Daijin Juichii (Junior First Rank).
