あらすじ

This moving historical drama depicts two women who lived through the turbulent years from the Taisho era to the postwar period, and who remained strong in their convictions. In 1919, Sakikuko Nambu, the noble youngest daughter of an old and fallen family in Tohoku, and Uno Ishigami, the clever daughter of a poor farmer, were united by a strong bond. Sakikuko and Uno, who have very different personalities but are united by a strong bond, decide to become female spinning factory workers and head for Tokyo. But what fate awaits them both?
