Synopsis

Deep in the mountains of a certain region, there is a station called "Hinamizawa Bus Stop" that is located on the outskirts of the village... A high school girl, Rika, visits this place with a junior student, Mion. The human drama that surrounds the construction of a dam in Hinamizawa and the haunting of "Oyashiro-sama," a deity rooted in the area, are told. What awaits them is either a tragedy or...? --- * An adaptation of *Hinamizawa Bus Stop*, the unreleased stage play that Ryukishi07 wrote and eventually transformed into the *Higurashi no Naku Koro ni* doujin game, which has been adapted into manga, anime, live-action movies, and console games.
