Synopsis

In May 1962, manga artist Ishikawa Kyuta hopped on an express train from Ueno bound for Aomori, then embarked on his first trip to Hokkaido on the packed Seikan Ferry. The purpose of the trip was to expand his imagination in order to depict the life of a mythical dog born to a wolf mother and an Ainu dog father. With dreams, fears and expectations in his heart, he took his first steps in Hokkaido, but...!?
