Synopsis

(from ebookjapan): Aimed at children who are going to draw manga, this introductory book describes the rudiments of manga production in the style of a gag, including the basics of manga, how to draw story manga, and a discussion of gag manga. The book also tickles the hearts of fans with episodes from the days when the "East Japan Manga Study Group" was formed and characters reminiscent of the friends of the dojinshi "A Drop of Ink" group. In addition to the title work, "TV-kun" and "Ishimori-sensei's Pasttimes Then and Now" are also included.
