Synopsis

Three girls - Nasubi (her name meaning 'eggplant'), Fujiko, and Takako - are great friends. After junior high, the three of them take different paths in life. Fujiko is continuing her high school education so she can become a teacher. Takako, an orphan, strives to become a prima donna ballerina. And Nasubi returns to the countryside to help her parents.
