The original one-shot of Toriko by Shimabukuro Mitsutoshi. Originally ran in Weekly Shounen Jump issue 2002-7-6. ___ This was the first pilot of Toriko and published while the author's first series [Legend of the End of the Century's Leader Takeshi! ](https://mangadex.org/title/77b4152b-53b3-4a9e-992d-5754009f4a61/seikimatsu-leader-den-takeshi) was still running in the magazine, due to controversies which resulted in Takeshi being cancelled a few months later and the author temporarily banned from the magazine, Toriko wouldn't return for several years but later with a new one-shot in 2007, that become a long-running serial
