Synopsis

In June 1888, Choshichi (later Makiguchi Sensei) was born in Arahama Village, Kashiwazaki Prefecture, a cold village exposed to the rough waves of the Sea of ​​Japan. It was a rare day for such a poor village, where fishing is unsatisfactory due to winter snowstorms and high waves, but on that day it was a clear day, and the fishermen were doing well.
