Synopsis

XVI century, the Holy Roman Empire. The era of innocent scholars persecuted in the name of "Witch hunts". Ella, a "daughter of a witch" whose family was executed by the Church, is brought to a monastery along with other witch children. The rapid times of extreme changes. This historic survival epic depicts Ella's harsh fate - as well as the fate of a torture device modeled after Virgin Mary, the "Iron Maiden"!
