Synopsis

Shin-Yoshiwara — the largest pleasure district of Edo. In this place where the passions of the living and the dead intertwine, the successful courtesan Ao stumbles upon a mysterious local shrine. It is a mystical realm where the souls of courtesans burdened by intense desire or regret are drawn. Now the bold Ao and the kind fox-eared priest Rakumaru must guide and save them! But can Ao herself be saved…? Expect encounters with malicious demons, restless yōkai, desperate humans… and the tales of their lives in old Japan.
