Synopsis

The series revolves around a madman of a detective known as Kogoro and his sidekick son Kobayashi, as they go solving strange mysteries and other affairs. Once informed of an incident, Kogoro will pursue who he believes responsible and engages in a struggle to arrest, but his own stupidity and delusions will complicate that procedure and destruction and violence may result in his wake. However, sometimes Kogoro and Kobayashi will find themselves taking part in adventures that have little to do with any detective work at all.
