Synopsis

The time is the Genroku era (1688-1704), and Edo is in a peaceful period. There was a samurai who was extremely shy and spent his days in paranoia. His name is Takamatsu Saemonjo Itsuka, or Samon. His only hobby is to visit teahouses to see the signboard girls. He sets out to shake hands with Omitsu-chan, the signboard girl he has always wanted to meet, but...? One "Mengera" samurai stirs up the peaceful Edo...? A period drama that's not just a joke!
