Synopsis

'Even though I'm a man, my breasts are starting to swell!' One day, primary schools student Ushio Rui begins to feel something strange about his body. He becomes the target of teasing from his classmates, his mother and other family members point out that he is not normal, and he is shocked that his existence is not recognised because he cannot act like a 'man'. As he grows up, his sense of discomfort gradually turns into a sense of inferiority and, wanting to be like everyone else, he deliberately starts to behave like a man. However, Rui himself becomes perplexed by the noticeable discomfort that appears in his appearance. ......? --The film is a human drama depicting Rui's struggle and growth as he is tossed about by his ambiguous "sexuality", and how he deals with his family and society along the way.
