Synopsis

"Do you remember our old promise? I want you to marry me." Komari, a girl burdened with the secret of her "Calamity Blossom" constitution, a peculiar trait that attracts supernatural beings (ayakashi) and brings misfortune to those around her. After a series of family tragedies, she leaves the countryside for the imperial capital. On her way to her new workplace, the Kagetuki household, she is greeted by its young master, Seika. Upon arriving at the estate, Seika reveals he knows her secret and declares his intent to marry her to fulfill an "old promise", though Komari is certain they've never met. Unable to trust him but with nowhere else to go, she reluctantly agrees to live with him as his [fiancée]. But as days pass together... A romantic fantasy set in the imperial capital, following a cursed girl and an earnest, awkward young man.`
