Synopsis

Alexis, a knight celebrated as a "hero" for his achievements in war, is granted the title of Marquis. By the royal family's arrangement, he is to take a fiancée. Having no interest in love, he desires a "white marriage" (a platonic, in-name-only union) and chooses the notoriously ill-natured Duke's daughter, Liserotte, as his bride-to-be.
