Synopsis

1900, China. The Qing dynasty is corrupt and on the verge of collapse, and Western powers interfere in Chinese politics. Sanjo, a poor farmer's daughter, killed a tax collector, and is on the run. She runs into the Giwadan, a group of dissatisfied men who wish to restore the dynasty and do away with the Western powers. However, the Giwadan have extreme means of force, which shock Sanjo.
