Synopsis

This is a comic adaptation of the novel "Stacy" by Kenji Otsuki about the encounter between Arita Yokushi, a scholar who investigates a type of undead girls called "Stacy" and kills them again, and Momo, a fully conscious Stacy he discovers at Riruka Girls' Art Academy, and the outcome of that encounter. It contains many bizarre and grotesque scenes, such as cutting the girl's body into pieces to render Stacy inactive. Also includes 4 non-guro oneshots based on The Ghostly Film of Lingwood Terrace by the same author. Girls between the ages of 15 and 17 are suddenly dying and are resurrected as living corpses covered in a glitter-like substance called Butterfly Twinkle Powder. These girls, called Stacy , do not understand human language, are unconscious, and attack people like zombies. Arita Yokushi is dispatched to Riruka Girls' Art Academy as part of the Romero Repeat Killing Squad to investigate and repeat kill Stacies, where he discovers a conscious, talking Stacy named Momo.
