Synopsis

Renge Osusuki is a 29 year old workaholic. One day she is abruptly fired from her company and when she returns home, she finds that her boyfriend, with whom she was going to marry, is having an affair with a woman she doesn't even know! Holding back angry tears, Renge sets off on a journey. She sets off for Kyoto, a place she had always wanted to visit! There, she meets a quiet, sweet-toothed geeky college boy who lives in an old townhouse, and a talkative (!?) black fox. Renge, who came to Kyoto to seek healing, is caught up in one bizarre event after another.
