Synopsis

At the home of doll maker Kitamura Ametsuki, his best friend, the bizarre writer Ishida Gosei, and his secretary, Saikawa Kyoko, are staying with him. One day, Kyoko receives a doll from a woman who asks Ametsuki to repair it. However, a woman's moaning voice can be heard inside the doll's box, and when Amezuki and Gosei investigate the identity of the voice, an unexpected truth is revealed.....! Sometimes out of resentment, sometimes out of regret....the doll maker Ametsuki rescues the souls that wander this world with Hitogata, a sequel to the "Onidan" series of bizarre picture scrolls.
