Synopsis

The protagonist, Sumire Asagi, is reminded of her father, Midori, whom she separated from 19 years ago, after a breakup with her boyfriend. Her father, a painter, never painted Sumire, his daughter. Relying on memories of the time she spent with her father, Sumire goes to the beach where those memories remain, and there she meets a strange young man. Then, at an art exhibition she happens to visit, Sumire finds a painting of herself as a child... This painting of herself, which should never have been painted, sets Sumire's story in motion.
