Synopsis

"Fist of the Sea'' was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion'' (Akita Shoten) from 1981 to 1982 by Baron Yoshimoto, who is still strongly supported by fans for his ``Jukyoden.'' The main character of this work is Ken Kaibara, a happy boy born and raised on a southern island. The film carefully depicts the story of Ken Kaibara, who was scouted as a boxer, overcomes various hardships, and becomes the Japanese champion. Although the work was serialized in a boys' magazine, the storyline is one that even adults can enjoy.
