Synopsis

A boy who appeared at a soup gyoza chain store managed by Chitose Otani severely criticized the best-selling soup gyoza, and created gyoza that surpassed it. That boy is Jean Akiyama, whose parents are chefs who once made a name for themselves in the championship of young Chinese chefs. Hido Otani, a food critic who was Jan's uncle for a thousand years and a sworn enemy of Jean's parents, knew of Jean's existence and traveled from New York to destroy the Ginza Gobancho Hotel where Jean works. He summons four people, but two of the four lose easily to Jean. Nichido, who was afraid of Jean's skill, held a large-scale cooking competition "All-Japan Chinese Cuisine King Decisive Battle" with his old friend, Shinten Sai, chairman of the All-Japan Chinese Cuisine Federation.
