Synopsis

Chiba Tamao's family is bankrupt, and the Yakuza debt collectors are chasing him down attempting to collect. The last thing that he needs is a handsome guy named Kurotengu who wants to 'eat him'. He tries to escape this creepy situation, only to find out that the only way he can solve one of his problems is by becoming an idol singer–with Kuro! Welcome to the world of Paradistar, where creatures known as the 'mononoke' live among us, beings that need to feed on beautiful human spirits to survive.
