Synopsis

The pathetic, modern, strange tale of the middle-aged man Andy's longing for America and his disappointment! “The energy that drove Japan from its rapid growth to its bubble era was a longing for American culture. Just like Andy, we all wanted to be Americans back then.” -Fujii Fumiya His longing for America growing, the middle-aged man Andy opened an American diner in a suburb of Tokyo. One day, Andy discovers an unpublished Warhol sketchbook among items left to him by his friend, and he instantly becomes the man of the hour. A meeting with Trump is suddenly arranged, a weekly magazine investigates Andy's secrets, and various intentions intersect, causing his destiny to go grandly awry.
