Synopsis

One night in 2007, on his way home from school, Nanami Asogawa encounters a girl accompanied by a monster. At the girl's request, Nanami gives her a glass of water, and in return, the dying monster gives him the girl—or rather, Muse, the "golden servant." This marks the beginning of a grand adventure in search of the greatest treasure in the universe. "He who opens the map, look up to the heavens and see the light. It is the 'Compass,' the key to the treasure. Three 'guideposts' are hidden in each of the two maps. Only the one who obtains both maps and the six compasses can obtain all the 'mysteries' and 'truths' of the universe. The name of the treasure is 'Zuzangadix,' a 'vessel' that can change the 'rules of the universe' and even grant infinite wealth. Therefore, those who obtain the two maps are destined to fight and vie for it. In the name of the 'Wandering Hunter,' they must triumph and prove with their own hands that they are worthy of possessing this great vessel.
