Synopsis

Kaoru Matsubara, a common girl, and Reiko Higaki, a girl from a zaibatsu family, are two girls who attend the prestigious Aisei Girls College. They are complete opposites in their upbringing and personalities, and can hardly stand each other. However, when their parents remarry, they become sisters! The two clash and quarrel, but gradually come to an understanding, and many complicated feelings begin to emerge as they develop a bond... Riyoko Ikeda delicately depicts the emotional turmoil of adolescent girls as they face the absurdities of the world on a journey that can only be embarked by the two of them alone! Note: Also contains the one-shot Gomennasai: Ryoko Hagiwara, an elementary school girl, decides to stand up for Yasue Yamada, an impoverished girl in her class.
