Synopsis

Tired of the monotony of her daily life, Ayu Mizusawa resigns from the editorial office of a local news magazine to become a reporter. She leaves the town of Kokura and settles in the village of Mizusawa, in the north of Kyûshû, whose future is in peril due to a dam construction project that would engulf the village. Accompanied by his friend Ryûko, a tomboy with a strong character, Ayu will learn to rub shoulders with the villagers of Mizusawa, She will also meet Kiyoto, a mysterious man who has drawn a line in his past and settled in Mizusawa to make a new start.
