Synopsis

In August 1944, Ginjiro Soma, a freshman soldier who joined the 14th Imperial Guard Field Artillery Unit in Akasaka, protects his comrades and is thoroughly beaten by veteran soldiers, but one day he rebels against his superiors and is imprisoned. He endures the hellish torture there, and is released when the war ends in August the following year. After the war, Ginjiro's rebellious spirit, which defies even demons, finds a new enemy in defeated Japan to replace the old military...!? What is the manly path of Ginjiro, who rebelled against hellish oppression?!
