Synopsis

Rido, a priest serving in the church of the royal capital, is suddenly ordered by Archbishop Golbert to be transferred to the remote village of Rasutara. The reason? He supposedly granted a meaningless skill to the daughter of a duke. Despite Rido's attempts to explain the usefulness of the skill, Golbert refuses to listen. Reluctantly, Rido is exiled to the frontier with his beloved cat, Silky. However, this marks the beginning of a legendary story. Golbert, who orchestrated Rido's exile, was unaware of Rido's true strength—that he was capable of defeating dragons, the most powerful creatures, all on his own.
