Synopsis

An elderly husband visits his hospitalized wife and sees a name on the name tag of the roommate. It is the same name as the first person he fell in love with, a long time ago. This long-awaited e-book version of a series that vividly depicts the small incidents that occur in the ordinary daily lives of people of different generations and backgrounds who live in Miharashi-ga-Oka, a residential area on the outskirts of Tokyo. This work won the Excellence Award at the 15th Japan Cartoonists Association Awards (1986).
