Synopsis

Tendo Yo is a doctor at Asahi Home Clinic in Hakodate, Hokkaido. He is a “end-of-life doctor” who faces patients who have chosen to live in their own home at the time of their death. Just like sparklers that shine brightly just before they go off, people give off their own sparkles before the end of life. How should we deal with them? Through the eyes of Tendo, we question the present state of home medical care.
