Synopsis

Amid Japan's era of isolation, Kisuke, a young and unlucky retainer, is entrusted with a perilous job: to journey from Edo to Nagasaki and deliver a mysterious package to the enigmatic master of a powerful family. But the road is treacherous, and danger lurks at every turn. As Kisuke struggles with the secrets his cargo holds, his life takes an unexpected turn.
