Synopsis

In the year 2051, human society is on the verge of a major transformation due to the rise of Tokugawa Shinkiryoku Industries, which holds a monopoly on the super-technology known as Shinkiryoku. The capital, Tokyo, was renamed Shinto, and through the implementation of highly advanced systems and the complete reliance on Shinkiryoku for all aspects of daily life—including food, clothing, and shelter—it comes to be operated with unprecedented efficiency. However, those who despise Shinkiryoku or refuse to accept it are mercilessly excluded from society and face annihilation. A man appeared in Shinto. His name is Yui Shousetsu. Believing Shinkiryoku to be an enemy that corrodes the human heart, he is a man of savage valor who stands alone against Shinto, using only his own body as a weapon.
