Synopsis

Based on a kabuki play about the loyal retainer of Minamoto Yoshitsune. During the era of clash between the Heike and Minamoto, there once lived a priest on Mt. Eikan named Benkei. Eventually the Heike defeated the Minamoto, only to relish in a lavish lifestyle while the public suffered.
