Synopsis

A masterpiece depicting the author's universal theme "boy meets girl," this is a new edition of the same title that was serialized in *Heibon Punch* in 1988 and published about six months before *Pink* in 1989. Haruko, an ordinary virgin, falls in love at first sight with Kenichi, an honor student but a high school dropout named "Pooh." Kenichi falls in love at first sight with a delinquent high school girl. During this time, the story includes vignettes such as a pimp schoolboy and being possessed by a vengeful spirit grandmother. Haruko and Kenichi are burdened with the murky and depressed feelings unique to adolescence. They meet, cross paths, and... A love story that is pure but naughty, sad but somehow funny, normal but strange, bittersweet and roundabout. This is a transitional work from Okazaki Kyouko's early works to the works after *Pink*.
